Dr. Jessica M. Albasha is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Physician. She was born and raised in Chicago and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her post-graduate Anesthesiology residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then completed an ACGME accredited Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
She is a member of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Incredibly patient, kind, and attentive, Dr. Albasha specializes in interventional pain management treatments for quick relief of both injury-related pain as well as chronic conditions to ensure a rapid return to life’s demanding activities. Dr. Albasha believes in using a multi-disciplinary treatment approach utilizing advanced procedures such as Epidurals and Nerve Blocks, Radiofrequency Ablation, Peripheral Joint Injections, and Regenerative therapies such as Platelet Rich Plasma.
In her spare time, Dr. Albasha enjoys spending time with her family, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, cooking, hiking, and international travel. Before medical school and residency, Dr. Albasha had a successful early career as a beauty pageant contestant in her home state of Illinois and became 2nd Runner-Up in the Miss Universe Pageant.
